USDC on Solana costs the least to receive swapped funds today. The typical fee to receive USDC on Solana is under $0.001, while the next cheapest option - USDC on Polygon - usually costs between $0.01 and $0.05 per transaction.

The reason Solana wins on receive cost is mechanical. Its network processes transactions in parallel and charges a fixed base fee per signature, not per computational unit. A standard USDC transfer on Solana consumes roughly one signature. The fee is currently 0.000005 SOL, which at recent SOL prices comes to less than a tenth of a cent. Even during network congestion, fees rarely exceed a few hundredths of a cent.

Polygon comes second. Its native MATIC gas is cheap, but not as cheap as Solana. A simple USDC transfer on Polygon costs about 0.001 to 0.005 MATIC, translating to roughly $0.01 to $0.05 at current prices. Polygon's fees can spike during NFT mints or DeFi events, whereas Solana's fee market is designed to stay low even under load.

BSC (BNB Smart Chain) is third. BSC transfers of USDC or USDT run about $0.05 to $0.15 per receive. That is still inexpensive for most purposes, but it is an order of magnitude more than Solana.

The bigger networks - Ethereum, Tron, Avalanche - are more expensive or less reliable for receive-only transactions. Ethereum mainnet costs $2 to $10 per simple USDC transfer. Tron's USDT transfers average $0.80 to $1.50. Avalanche's C-Chain sits around $0.10 to $0.30, which is not terrible but is not the cheapest.

One nuance: the cost to receive is not the cost to swap. If you are swapping a volatile asset into a stablecoin, you pay the swap fee on the source chain, then a potential bridge fee, then the receive cost on the destination chain. The receive cost alone is what we measure here. The swap fee and bridge fee can easily dwarf the receive fee, especially if you use a slow or expensive bridge. A swap that costs $0.50 in bridging can make a $0.001 receive fee irrelevant.

Another nuance: stablecoin availability varies by chain. Solana has deep USDC liquidity but less USDT. If you must receive USDT, the cheapest network for that is Tron, costing about $0.80 to $1.50. That is not cheap by Solana standards, but it is the only place where USDT is the dominant token. On Solana, USDT exists but has thinner liquidity and fewer on-ramps.

If you are a bot rotating profits into a stablecoin during high volatility, the cheapest receive network is Solana for USDC. If you need immediate liquidity on Ethereum for on-chain actions, the receive cost is higher but unavoidable. Finally, remember that "cheapest" changes. Network fees are not fixed; they adjust with demand. What costs $0.001 today might cost $0.10 after a memecoin frenzy.
